Em entrevista ao colunista Bruno Astuto, do jornal "O Dia", publicada nesta quinta-feira, a cantora revelou que não tinha a menor ideia de que possuía tantos fãs no Brasil, tendo ficado muito impressionada com a paixão dos brasileiros: "Honestamente, eu não disse por dizer. Os brasileiros foram de longe a melhor plateia que eu tive em toda minha vida. Eu nunca tive esse tipo de amor. Eu agora me sinto um membro da família, uma pessoa que tem que voltar todo ano. Inacreditável o nível de amor e resposta que eu tive das pessoas aqui. Vou vir sempre, para os shows e até para as férias. Esse é o melhor lugar do mundo".A dona do hit "Single ladies" também falou sobre a escolha do Rio para a gravação do clipe da música "Put it in a love song" com Alicia Keys: "Pensamos: 'Onde vamos fazer o vídeo?' E veio o Rio imediatamente. Tem a ver com a beleza da cidade, a alegria das pessoas, a energia incrível desse lugar.
